Kingdom of AEthelmearc - Award of Arms

Peace be upon you, We greet you well. As it was for our predecessors, we decree that the Crown's subjects, not lame nor having no lawful impediment, and being over the age of 11 years, except for spiritual men, justices and Barons of the Exchequer, make well use of the bow and to have a bow contunually in one's house along with such arrows as being necessary for an archer to arm him or herself for war. And that no stranger shall wield a bow near Our Majesty, We, Marcus and Marguirete, King and Queen of Sylvan AEthelmearc, do affirm and award Arms to Snorri sketi Bjornnson and call him Lord Snorri and further do We command that the newly created Lord Snorri, as mentioned above, travel to Our College of Heralds where, with consultation, a device worthy of a Lord shall be created for you that you and you alone shall bear. And we put Our hands to this paper so that all shall know of Our will. Done on the 11th of February, AS 51, in the Barony of Deftwood, at the Feast of the Seven Deadlie Sins.

Inspired by A Statue imposed by King Henry VIII and written by the King in the 6th year of his reign (1515) was an amended, more specifically detailed version to replace an earlier Royal Statute of 1363
