Kingdom of AEthelmearc - Martial Award
Come forth good gentles of the Land and know the will of your Sovereigns. Wheras anciently from the beginning the valiant and virtuous acts of worthy persons have been commended to the world with sundry monuments and remembrances of their good skills. Thomas Dyne has done commendable deeds of arms on the battle field and has been a leader through good example and, like Horatio, won renown for holding a bridge against forces opposed to Our Realm. It is only fitting that We should recognize his efforts and welcome him into Our Order of the Golden Alce that all may know of his worth. So say We Magnus Tindal et Etain Nobilissimus Imperator AEthelmearc, on this 14th day of June, anno societatis nine and forty, in Our Shire of Sunderoak, at the AEthelmearc Proving Ground
Based on an English Patent of Arms to an Individual, 1576
