Peace and well wishes to Their beloved and faithful subject, Cynwulf Rendell, greetings. Because we have had consultation and meeting with the principal archers of Our Kingdom, as to provision for remedies against the dangers which in these days are threating Our whole Kingdom; We command you, strictly enjoining you in the fidelity and service in which you are bound to Us, that on this 9th day of July, you be present in person at the proving grounds at Pax Intrurptus, and join with the ranks of the principle archers of Sylvan AEthelmearc and take your place within the Noble Order of the Scarlet Guard and take from Our hands the tassel and the scarf of the Order so that all may know of your new station and We will and demand of you that you arm yourself with your bow and as many arrows as may be necessary for meeting dangers that threaten Our lands.
