Down in the history of the Principality of AEthelemearc stood a man who was the Voice of the Principality and then the Voice of Our Sylvan Kingdom. Many a court heralded he, his voice used to speak the will of Monarchs, using his skill of words he shaped a Kingdom. But, as great as his skill with the word, as great was his skill with the sword. His skill with the blade and buckler, with the dagger and cloak, with tempo and with measure, has impressed Us, Yngvar and Caryl, 1st King and Queen of AEthelmearc, that We were so moved to induct Eric Brehattin as the 6th of the AEthelmearc Order of the White Scarf and Grant him the following arms, Gules, semy of butterflies Or. Awarded at the Fourth Harvest Raids in Heronter, October 4, AS 32 in absentia.
