Kingdom of AEthelmearc - Court Barony

In the third year of the reign of King Andreas and Queen Kalista, a Lady was called forward. A weaver of the grass-biter's coat, displayer of embroidery, protector of the hive-inhabitants. Oðindisa Býkona, 13th daughter of the harbor-light of Delftwood, was her name and she asked for a boon. The King and Queen received her well and asked what boon she wanted. Removing her hair ribbon’s hoard she said that she has served as the wealth-bestower and keeper of the sting-flies and of the tamer of the wolves of the air for too many years, and now it is time for her to step down and rest. That her Coronet is destined for a new brow to ride. The King and Queen did hear her words and, being good and just rulers, listened to their hearts and did grant her boon, but told the Daughter of Delftwood that once a Coronet is planted on the worry ground of the head, it can only be removed through a bog of tears, and they did give her another Coronet to wear and told her that the mills of Delftwood would stand against Garmr's breath because of her leadership. Thus it was done in the 60th year since the forging of the world, at the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins, on the 21st day of the 2nd month, so sing the Skalds of AEthelmearc.

Kingdom of AEthelmearc - Court Barony

The King and Queen of AEthelmearc to Aengus MacBain, Knight of AEthelmearc. Since We intent to have a consultation and meeting with the principal Nobles of Our Kingdom with regard to providing remedies against the dangers which are in these days threatening the afore mentioned Kingdom as word has reached our Ears of the invasion of Normans at Pevensey; and on that account have commanded them to be with us on this day of the Feast of St. Wenceslaus at the meeting place called Harvest Raid in Our Shire of Heronteer, to consider, ordain, and do as may be necessary for the the avoidance of these dangers; We would take such steps as We deem fit to add you to the rolls of said Nobles and elevate you from the position of humble Knight to that of Baron of Our Court such that you will have Our authority to command Men, Women, and Nobles in defense of Our Realm.

Moreover, you shall have full and sufficient power to act as an inspiration to Our subjects and burgesses and shall lead as an example of Service, Kindness, and Courtesey, then and there for doing what shall then be ordained according to the common counsel; so that the aforesaid business shall not remain unfinished in any way for defect of this power, you shall have here a Coronet to wear, to mark you of your new station and this Warrant that We have signed to make Our Words Law. This we have done this 28th day of September, AS59, with marks of Bjarki, King, and Gabrielle, Queen.

Kingdom of AEthelmearc - Court Barony

All shall know that We Gareth, King of the dwellers of AEthelmearc, and Juliana, Queen of Mercy and Grace, acting with foresight for Ourselves in the future, have decided to give something to one who has given all things to the Crown and, having received advice, it seemed good to grant to a gift to Ascilla Attebroke at this place that is called White Heart within the lands of Our Shire of Port Oasis. And, having received advice, it seemed good to Grant to Ascilla Arms in the following fashion, Sable, a wolf's head couped close and on a chief argent three oak leaves sable. We would also give, in addition to this Grant of Arms, a Coronet that We shall place upon her head and call her Baroness of Our Court in perpetuity. We wish this gift to be steadfast in perpetuity so that neither We nor Our Heirs should presume to diminish anything. If anything otherwise should be attempted by any person, let them know that they are transgressing under an interdict of anathema that shall last until a full century has passed after Our names are forgotten. In confirmation of this account, We shall sign this warrant with Our marks and have it witnesses on this second day of March, in the 58th Year of Our Society.

Kingdom of AEthelmearc - Court Barony

In the Name of the Society, We Andreas and Kallista, King and Queen of the dwellers of AEthelmearc, acting in foresight for Ourselves in the future, and for Our Heirs, and for Their Heirs, have decided to give to her who gives all things to Our Kingdom and Our fellow Kingdoms, and, having received advice it seems good to Grant a Coronet to Adriane Brezel Neumann and make her a Baroness of Our Court and charge her with keeping these lands nearby the very well-known boundaries that are called "Interstate 79" and "State Route 422", as well as "Currie Road" and "Cooper Road" and all of the lakes, ponds, hills, trails, stores, camp grounds, bath houses, markets, and coffee shops to be found there in. We wish this gift of Ours to be steadfast in perpetuity so that neither We nor Our heirs should presume to diminish anything. If anything otherwise should be attempted by any person, let them know that they are transgressing under an interdict of anathema that would last until the sun burns out. In confirmation of this account We place our marks on this Warrant in the presence of the Landed Barony of AEthelmearc and the subjects there in, signed Andreas, King, and Kallista, Queen. Done at Pennsic 50, in glorious Cooper's Lake.

Kingdom of AEthelmearc - Court Barony

Due commendations and greetings from Thomas Byron and Ariella, King and Queen of Sylvan AEthelmearc by right of Arms, to Our right trusty and wellbeloved Rhiannon Elandris of Glyndyfyrdwy. Whereas by the advice of those men and women with whom we have utmost trust, and in recognition of the decades of service which you have done for Shire, Barony, Canton, Principality and Kingdom, while upon horse or upon foot, we are minded to surround Ourselves with such barons as shall give us council in certain arduous and urgent and serious affairs concerning Us and the defense of Our Kingdom, that We command that you, waiving all excuses, place personally yourself before Us that we may make you a Baron of Our Court in recognition of the Service which you have done for more than a generation of souls within Our society. This act We do with joy in Our hearts on the 9th day of August, two score and eleven years after wise elders met at Mistland's Tourney, from which all days are numbered.
