Reflect upon the deeds and accomplishments of Arden Scot of Clan Scot, Knight of the Realm. None can criticize the martial skills of the said Sir Arden, who's hands are often seen wielding a sword against those who would stand against him in the list. But We have also seen those same hands wielding a pen and a brush, not in destruction, but in creation. For so much that We understand for certain that every craft and fraternity within the most Noble Order of the Sycamore, be they born base and common, have through their skill and knowledge have shown their true Nobility. Well pleased are We with the craft of Arden Scot of Clan Scot, Knight of the Realm, as mentioned above, of illumination and other scribal works, that We are moved to induct him into the said Noble Order without delay and award him the right to wear the sign and token of the said Noble Order forever more to have and to hold, occupy and rejoice without any impediment, interception, let or impeachment by virtue of Our Royal Status forever more. In witness whereof, We, Gareth and Juliana, Royal Crowns of AEthelmearc, to those present, signed with Our hands in Our Third Reign, during the time of the Great Pestilence, in the 56th year of the Society.

Barony of the Rydderich Hael - Martial Award

Long are the accolades given to Chebe for his martial prowess, most notably in armor with bow in hand or behind a siege engine, but also his service as a marshal, officer, and champion, his endeavors to share knowledge with others, and in making and repairing arrows, strengthen our Barony, furthermore does his Lord's valor bring honor to his name and renown to the lands that we hold for the Crown. We are most pleased by his skill and his service to us and our predecessors that we are so moved to act for ourselves and our heirs. Wherefore, so much the more willingly, do we, Patrick and Julianna, 12th Baron and Baroness of the Rhydderich Hael, welcome the aforesaid Chebe into the Order of the Dragons Combatant at Ice Dragon, AS56, in the time of the Great Pestilence.

For as much as We have been informed by Lords, Ladies, and Nobles of Our Realm that Our trusty and well beloved Eby Jousie has taken many takes upon her shoulders, We are right pleased with the work that she has done for Our Lands and Our people, while cooking, heralding, retaining, and other tasks too numerous to list here, that We are right moved to make her a Lady and award her Arms.  Thus were Our hands moved in Our Third Reign, during the time of the Great Pestilence, in the 56th year of the Society.

To the nobles and commons within seeing or hearing of these words, it is our wish and desire to recognize your noble skill of armored combat, said skill with the sword did impress our eyes and so moved hand to paper and name you the winner of the Ice Dragon Youth Combat tourney, held in the Barony of Rhydderich Hael, at Festival of the Passing of the Ice Dragon.
